So obviously there are many options to powering pedals, I tried daisy chaining and it's just a massive hassle and I still get buzz, mainly thanks to my power guzzling freeze pedal.

I was wondering if those with the likes of vodoo power, DC powerbrick and T-Rex power supplies would say that they are worth spending the money on? - do you still get buzz, even with over £100 of power supply?

Cheers

Many people use Voodoo Labs stuff as it fits well on to a Pedaltrain board, though some (Particularly Shep) rate the GigRig system highly as well, it's expensive but does look to be the best on the market. The T-Rex stuff, except the Fuel Tank Junior, isn't Isolated as far as i know so is effectively just a much higher power Daisy Chain.

The Freeze isn't especially power hungry but it is known for being awkward to daisy chain and likes to be isolated. So either a power supply with isolated outputs or the gigrig virtual battery would cover that.

Are you sure the T-Rex stuff isn't isolated? According to this it is?

I've been looking at these recently too - I've got
A pedal train board and would like to mount a supply, but is the Voodoo Labs the only one that will or could I look at the T-Rex, etc?

The Fuel Tank Jnr. is isolated but its big brother is not. I use Thomann's copy of the jnr and it is really good.
