Ou7shined Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 I kinda like it. I admire it's blatant eccentricity. Would I play it live?... maybe in one of my bands, definitely not in the other. Quote
discreet Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Oh come on. Would you really play it in public? I'd rather die in a ditch. Quote
gemdids Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Nightmare trying to find a case that fits that one. Bin bag? Quote
yorks5stringer Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 I see they copied Sadowsky by putting hollow chambers in the body..... Quote
bremen Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Weird, I'm the most boring Precision-loving luddite I know, and I'm strangely drawn to this...much too expensive though. Quote

LiamPodmore Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 I'd play it, but i'm strange like that. Liam Quote

KingBollock Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 (edited) It says "1st & only made" yet if you look in the last picture there is another one, but in a different shade of puke, called the Waterskipper. Don't look too closely though, there are far worse one in there than the Raptor. Though, having said that, there are some that I quite like: The Goblin DT, the Scorpion and maybe the Medevil too. I did wonder if they were based on the shapes of US States. I would love to know how exactly they are designed. I have a feeling that it'll involve Apes and Etch-a-Sketches. paul_5 Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I think he might get in trouble over that "stingray". Quote
tauzero Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 My first thought was the same as Bremen's, that it was like the Olimpic logo, and after thinking that the Stingray actually looked like a dragon with its jaws agape, I began to wonder if they are in fact a sophisticated Rorschach test. Well, I can't do the looking at clouds game at the moment because there's just the one and it goes from horizon to horizon. Quote
chrismuzz Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 They look like old Atari video game characters Quote

Pinball Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I like the way it has carrying handles built into the body, more things should be designed like that! Quote

Hmm, anyone else know if any other guitar designs incorporated "handles" before then? Quote
