garythebass
Well, last week, actually, but as the saying goes, no pics, no bass! [attachment=113540:P1000236.JPG] [attachment=113539:P1000237.JPG] This is my newly acquired Status Matrix Energy 4, early model with graphite neck, purchased on BC from Ian (Blunderthumbs). Perfect neck with minimum fret wear; body is showing its years, but not abused - nothing structural and nothing that won't come out with a bit of elbow grease and a re-finish! Massively impressed with the playability and tone in rehearsals this week, and will be unleashing it on the public on Saturday Got a feeling this will be my 'go-to' bass for a long time to come. silentbob
I've just bought myself a five stringed wooden necked Energy. Really liking it, but not 100% sold on having five strings instead of my usual four. I've never really got on with fives before (and don't really use the , but I was so desperate to have a Status that I had to have a punt. Hopefully I'll grow into it.
