noelk27 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 And it's got one of those really exotic nyatoh mahogany necks (even if nyatoh isn't actually in the mahogany family). But hey, at least he isn't claiming the body is mahogany this time. In the world of MDP that's a development of seismic proportions. Quote
jonsebass Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Nobody has even mentioned the fact that the acoustic guitar he is selling doesnt even have a battery cover! Try beeswaxing that you bloody pleb! Quote

Ghost Rider Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I have watched this "MDP" on eBay for a while with his crazy Guitar fixing antics but has nobody thought that he may have a slate off? Quote

Dave Vader Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I saw his doppelganger at the market today, selling beeswax polish. I chuckled more than I should. Quote
Bassdriver Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Glad I read about this guy. On every guitar or bass I've ever had that was fitted with a zero fret the fret was flat. I never knew they were supposed to have grooves in them. I'm off out now to buy a set of nut files. Seriously though, is this guy for real? I mean is he so inept he's actually convinced he has a clue what he's doing or is he laughing up his sleeve at the unfortunates who purchase his mangled creations. Quote
Bassdriver Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012
His Zero Frets aren't Zero Frets. They're nuts. Which makes it all the more worrying
Fortunately I knew that. I'm no 'gluethier', whatever that is but I know what a zero fret is meant to look like. I think one giveaway about this guy, if one was needed is how he signs off some of his listings with the admission 'Master guitar Bodger'. Perhaps his understanding of the word bodger is equal to that of the usual profile of a zero fret. Lots of zeros going on there. Quote

thebrig Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Did I see on another thread about this guy, that he is actually a BC member? Quote
thebrig Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 In that case, he must be aware of all these threads about him. Quote
yorks5stringer Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Only if he has the time and inclination to read them. His adverts and their claims speak for themselves and close scrutinity of the accompanying photos shows he has scant understanding of the setting up an instrument. Sledgehammer and Nut(!) are phrases that spring to mind... Stil,l he has become a legend to many of us on this thread and we eagerly await his next offering! Quote
