Shipping abroad? Reccomendations?

Fellow basschatters,

I'm hopefully in the process of my first private bass deal. The seller is situated in Paris and myself in London. I was wondering if anyone could recommend me any cheap/reliable international shipping companies in order to get the bass overseas to me?

Also what are the recommended methods of payment for this type of deal?

I`ve used [url="http://www.parcel2go.com"]www.parcel2go.com[/url] to send basses to Greece, and Finland. Easy to use, and for a £650 bass, fully insured, was about £50. I`ve also bought basses form overseas, and they`ve used the same setup.

Payment via Paypal is fairly safe.

I'd go with that too. I had my fingers burnt by UPS who charged me double the above to send to Spain. The package was heavy mind, and insured up to a grand too.

I sent a 23kg epifani 212 cab fully insured for 50 quid, and it arrived within 5 days. I would recommend them
