lxxwj Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Does anyone know any cabs that are small (1x15, 1x12, etc.), light, and most importantly, under 300$ USD? I'm looking for something to pair with a G-K MB200 Ultralight that I can carry with one hand. Quote
Truckstop Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Build your own! Everything I can think of would cost more than that. Even if you look second hand! Truckstop Quote
stingrayPete1977 Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Don't Hartke do some fairly cheap priced cabs? I'm sure I was looking at a brand new 1x12 on eBay before buying my Genz one. Quote

So I would buy a speaker and make the enclosure out of wood, I'm assuming..
Don't Hartke do some fairly cheap priced cabs? 3below Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Get yourself an Eminence 3015 or 3012HO, from the USA so way better price than UK. Checkout Eminence website for designs. 12mm plywood (birch), then get cutting and glueing. Best bang per buck I think. Quote
lxxwj Posted July 20, 2012 Author Posted July 20, 2012 I don't think I'll want to build my own, I don't have any experience or any prior knowledge about the subject whatsoever and I would probably end up getting a bad sound. Hartke looks promising. Quote
DirkThrust Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 (edited) How about one of these? Lightweight and within your budget but maybe a bit bulky for one handed carrying http://www.thomann.d...eger_212mbe.htm It would help to know what you're going to be using it for. Do you intend taking it on public transport or is the one handed carry just from your car? Edited July 21, 2012 by DirkThrust Quote

The prices on that Ashdown VS112 make me very happy. Thank you good sir. Only 36$ for shipping too! Quote
