gjones Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 (edited) My band played an outdoor gig today, to about 1,000 people in the centre of Edinburgh. I was using my MiBass 500 micro amp and my newly aquired Barefaced Compact. What a sound! I had the MiBass near it's limit but it was loud, clear, punchy, defined and deep though the Compact. No distortion and no farting from the speaker. It's a great combination and I thoroughly recommend them both. And I can get the amp in my gig bag and can carry the cab with one hand (when the drummer picked the compact up he said to me 'Sorry to tell you Gareth but they've forgotton to put the speaker in your cab'). Fantastic! Edited July 22, 2012 by gjones Quote

[/quote] There was PA support but because of a seriously loud guitarist through an Vox AC 30 onstage, and the fact I wanted to see what the compact could do, I turned the amp up to not far off it's maximum. It was a excellent sound onstage and I was told by fellow bassist it was great in the crowd too. Quote
