alanmian
Hi all, Don't know much about this bass except its a cheap (possibly Chinese made) P bass copy. It plays great and feels very well put together. The finish is excellent and is similar to what Fender would call Shoreline gold. It has a nice vintage style hi gloss stained maple neck/fretboard and i believe the body is alder. It also has a Seymour Duncan basslines pickup and Fender 70s style P bass logo on the headstock (see photo). Ideal for anyone wanting that P bass sound for cheap. Think Freddie Washington on "Forget Me Nots". Yours for £120 Thanks for looking Alan. Mr. Foxen
If this was another forum, we'd have club numbers for owning a former one of your basses.

Zenitram
Hello again. I was wondering where in London you are, or where the bass is. For collecting it. And buying it. And stuff. Thanks!
alanmian
Bass can be collected from Chiswick (west london) or Kilburn (north west london) Thanks Alan.

THIRSTYGUMS
its an old sx with the original headstock these are great basses, i regret selling mine all the time. thats not a bad price
alanmian
Thanks for the kind words. It really is a nice bass and well put together. For those who may be wondering, i would say it's somewhere on a par with Squier Classic Vibe series in terms of build quality and playability etc. Thanks Alan. Musky
It's probably worth putting SX in the title - I'm sure it'll get more attention that way. There's a lot of love for these on TB.
alanmian
Thanks for the advice. I know those SX basses are great as i had one once. But, the only reason i didn't put it in the title was that i didn't want to mislead anyone as i'm not convinced this is an SX. When i got it there was no decal (SX or otherwise) on the headstock and no sign that one had ever been there until i put the Fender one on. Also, the headstock is a slightly different shape (actually closer to the Fender) than the "old" SX headstock. So it's still a mystery. If anyone has any ideas, i'm all ears! Thanks Alan. Grassie
I have an SX and they are indeed excellent value for money. Do you have a price for P+P to the Isle of Wight?
