Doc B Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 For the past few days I've been unable to get Joy Division's 'Digital' out of my head - hypnotic bass and vocals. I mentioned this to my wife and she suggested putting the song on when we got home - so I dug out my Joy Division Substance CD (the first CD I ever bought). Next thing I picked up my new Squier VM 70s Jazz and worked out the bassline, closely followed the line for Transmission. Lovely! Quote
s_u_y_* Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Maneater by Nelly Furtado. "She's a maaaaaaan eeeeeeeeater, make you work more, make you spend more, make you want all of her love!" A favour for someone doing their final year performance at uni. Cool riff tho. Quote
Oscar South Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 (edited) Mm, a few months back now so hard to recall. Probably either Tom Sawyer (Rush) or Get On the Boat (Prince). Edited April 26, 2008 by Oscar South Quote
