acidbass Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Been very busy over the last six weeks learning 60 songs (only 3 of which I'd heard before!) for a new band, as well as Footloose The Musical - the title track of which has some fantastic bass playing! Quote
Marvin Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Brick House by The Commodores. I even do the moves, otherwise my fingers just don't get funky enough. Quote
cocco Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 The Jackson 5 - I want you back. Turned out to be a good cure for bone idle little finger syndrome too Quote

iamthewalrus Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I'm currently working on "I Don't Want To Go To Chelsea" - the band I'm in plays this in the set, & having recently discovered a transcription by John Currie whilst demolishing my collection of bass magazines, I found that what's transcribed is different (in parts) to what I'm playing! Cheers, iamthewalrus. Quote
