Mog Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Had to come up with a bass line/piano line for Broken strings for a some talent show the guitards wife entered. It came out well but there was no backline (one was supposed to be supplied!) so I went straight to PA. Needless to say the tapping arrangment I'd prepared sounded muck! Gutted!! Quote

dave_bass5 Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 (edited) Devil women, Cliff Richard. For no good reason i was picking some random tracks in itunes last night and settled on this. Nice easy, but solid bass line. Edited March 3, 2010 by dave_bass5 Quote

thebassman Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 No one knows. Qotsa got some nice 5 string stuff and a few bass solos, what more can you ask for, shame dave grohl wasn't drumming for my band. Quote
Jerry_B Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 'Chartered Trips' by Husker Du. Never been a huge fan of their stuff but occasionally they produced something I like. Also re-learning a whole bunch of Black Flag tunes. Quote
Hot Tub Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Playing around with "I Predict A Riot" - got the roots sorted and just been improvising around them. Got a few nice ideas going on which still work with the original song. And Roy Orbison/The Travelling Wilburys "Anything You Want". Dead easy, but hey, I just love the song! Quote
