For the past few days I've been unable to get Joy Division's 'Digital' out of my head - hypnotic bass and vocals. I mentioned this to my wife and she suggested putting the song on when we got home - so I dug out my Joy Division Substance CD (the first CD I ever bought).

Digital is super hypnotic. I can play it for hours. It was one of the first riifs i learned, simple to play but powerfull. Seems a long time ago now, way back in December 2009. Which is nearly as old as this thread :)

Great song and great band! Used to play 'Where's Me Jumper?' and 'S-t-u-p-i-d Kid' many years ago.

Please post a vid. I love that song.

I've been trying to learn one of Marlowe's riffs. Seems faster than I thought:

Breathless (Corrs) - audition for a party band on Wednesday. I'm still reading the part for Wonderful Land (got a book with proper dots in :) ) , and busking for other stuff like Gimme All Your Lovin.

Baby Huey's version of 'A change is gonna come' for a new band. Simple stuff but because it's in a slightly different time sig and reeeeeeeeeaaaalllllllyyyyyy slow it's quite tricky and I can't relax into it.

Kid Charlemagne (relearnt to be honest) and Go Your Own Way (surprisingly tiring when your 2 guitarists decide to trade solos for an extended outro).

I try to......

The original (as far as I can tell) is in Eb?

Eb, G, Bb, Ab(2) C, Eb for the riff.

Is that what you play?
