Dave Tipping
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DM3f-pRidnU&feature=youtube_gdata_player ... Not the most challenging! It gets a bit of respect from pub punters though.

Blademan_98
Looks like everyone agrees with you about E My ears must be doing a wobbly (or my bass needs tuning ) Easy enough to shift it along a fret Edited February 5, 2012 by Blademan_98
discreet
Easy enough to shift it along a fret
Easily done... some of the old Stax players weren't too bothered about on tuning to 440Hz sometimes! More than once I've had to time stretch an original track to bring it into a proper key... The main riff I play low, starting with open E. jonsebass
For the past few days I've been unable to get Joy Division's 'Digital' out of my head - hypnotic bass and vocals. I mentioned this to my wife and she suggested putting the song on when we got home - so I dug out my Joy Division Substance CD (the first CD I ever bought). Next thing I picked up my new Squier VM 70s Jazz and worked out the bassline, closely followed the line for Transmission. Lovely!
Mine was Alannis Morisette - You Oughta Know....on the exact same bass - lovely creatures. Alanis morisette and the FSR bass that is

seashell
Well it's probably a bit of a bass cliche, but I'm learning 'Money' by Pink Floyd. Cos my teacher decided it was going to be part of my last lesson. I bloody love it, it has really perked me up. Just can't stop playing it now. It's a great way to beat the February blues. uncle psychosis
Got 90% of the way there with "Nite Klub" by the Specials tonight Got all the notes, just need to get it up to speed now. Really pleased with myself, about 5 months ago before I started going for lessons I tried to learn it, failed miserably, and decided it was way too hard! Hobbayne
Bad Company - Feel Like Making Love, I love the way Boz Burrell never plays the same pattern twice, just a variation of it. Queen - Fat Bottom Girls (In dropped D) John Deacon, first proper song of his I,ve played! (apart from the awful CLTCL) which i dont count.
