stewblack Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Into The Mystic - Van Morrison. Chosen by bride and groom as first dance at wedding last Saturday. Simple to learn but just so gorgeous. Who played it BTW? Anyone know? Quote
Annoying Twit Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I'm only learning, so it's one of the basslines to one of the bits of canned music they playing during "The Real Hustle". Unfortunately the bassline for the BBC HD ident/advert is still beyond my abilities to work out by ear before it's gone. Quote
bnt Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008
leave that thing alone.... by rush
I had some great fun with that one - I honestly don't know how Geddy comes up with that kind of phrasing. I recently pulled out Level 42's Physical Presence live album, and re-discovered Kansas City Milkman. Mark's playing in drop D, and gets a kind-of Tower Of Power 16ths feel going here, which is quite tough on my slow fingers. They played it on the 2006 Retroglide tour, just another reason why I'm kicking myself for missing it. Quote
