JensWest Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 (edited) Hi! I have a made in Japan Yamaha TRB5ii in great condition, with a John East U-retro 5-knob Deluxe preamp and a new bone (eurasian elk horn) nut professionally fitted. It has a swamp ash body, 3 piece maple neck (with some flame to it) and a rosewood fingerboard. Neck is straight and low action is possible. Hardware and electronics works perfectly. Comes in its original hardcase, which's also in very good cond. I'd sell it for £ - or trade it for a MM 4/5 Stingray/Sterling/Bongo or a Warwick 4/5 Streamer/Thumb (or you could always try me ). Just send me a pm if you have any questions or if you would like to see more pics of it. BassBus Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 I used to have a TRB6II and the only thing that let it down at all was the preamp. With the U-Retro this will be a fine sounding bass. They are great preamps.
JensWest Posted August 25, 2012 Author Posted August 25, 2012 The bass is really great and the preamp leaves nothing more to wish for.
