jimbobothy
Very nice bass there, just to let you know I'd change the 'uncredible' to (I'm guessing ) 'incredible' as it is a timewarp masterpiece!!

Kev
Don't think MEC were being made in that year, do you know what happened to the original preamp?? Lovely bass Edited July 26, 2012 by Kev
fernandobicho
Hi wrong. All Warwicks have MEC preamp since the begining . The pickups were Bartolini, Seymour Duncan, OBL-Bill Lawrence and optional Alembic, but mostly EMG but all the preamps were MEC. This bass it's all original. thank you. Warwick_Official
The BEC II preamp by Warwick / Hansal (Later MEC company) was offered in 1984. MEC pickups became the standard Warwick pickup in 1988. Beautiful bass, BTW!!!

warwickhunt
Nice bass, fabulous condition. It looks almost as if it has never been played, certainly the pups look like they've not been played in it's 26 year life; just out of interest what is the colour of the lettering on the top of the EMG pups? Is the wood 'Annegre' (alternative spelling Anigre) the same wood as Cherry, as I believe that the body wood of your bass will be Cherry unless it was a custom order. fernandobicho
Hello I don't know what's "annegre" wood... but the body it's seems made of cherry, yes. That it's the official description of Warwick's database. Maybe someone knows what's "annegre".... The lettering in the PUs it's in silver color. thank you
LukeFRC
two things.... http://www.wood-database.com/lumber-identification/hardwoods/anigre/ used as strips in boat building as far as I can see and.... WOW, that is stunning. Like wow- one of the top two nicest basses to come up for sale on here ever in my book (the other one beoing the JV p bass I bought)
