Musicman Stingray 4 - 3eq

Unfortunately this beautiful bass has to go as I'm looking at getting a new Jazz and it just doesn't get played in the band I'm in, which is a real shame. It was my first "real" bass and my no. 1 for the past 3 years before I changed to a Jazz about 6 months ago. It's in fantastic condition as I've taken great care of it with only one small ding which I have pictured. A stunning looking black on black 2003 model with a rosewood board - I'm the original owner. It really is probably one of the best Stingray 4's I've played (about 8 or 9) and will be sad to see it go.

Comes with Musicman hard case and all case candy pictured.

Pics:

There is a slight chip here. Follow the screw up from the middle of the scratch plate and you can just about see it. Its not very big at all.

Looking for [s]£700[/s] £650 or trade + cash your way for a high end Jazz bass (Fender CS, Sadowsky Vintage, Celinder, US Lakland) must have rw board.

Thanks
Tim

It's exactly the same as mine which didn't sell so I'm holding onto it, not bad for a 2nd back up :)

Its only been up for a couple of hours so far guys! Well I think it's a great bass and am not going to reduce the price to pea nuts. If it doesn't sell then I'll just keep hold of it untill the market perks up a bit.

Roll up, roll up get a sweet 'Ray right here...

If you look at EBay people are bidding around £400-500 and the ones around £650 with a buy it now price only are not going. IMHO because residuals are low for Stingrays people dont appear to be wanting to pay a decent price for them.

I myself are semi interested but with apologies to the seller I'm not going to pay £700 for a Stingray even though this time last year it was a decent price. Still is.

Keep it.
