Lozz196
Tort, def the tort. Transforms the bass, imo, have never been keen on white Fender pickguards, but the colour combo with the tort is just stunning.
Old Horse Murphy
Thanks Loz. I think you've confirmed what I was thinking

Bud
Really nice bass. I get exactly the same bass from Coda music 6 months ago. Superb bass. I'd like to say that Coda's guys are really great. Excellent customer support. Now I'm waiting for a "twin" cs 59 precision bass, from them too

As soon as I can afford another one I think I'd pull the trigger again. I'm still not entirely sure a Jazz bass is right for me, but this is the closest I've come to finding the perfect one! sshorepunk
That looks great, I had a custom classic in sea foam green with tort' plate, looked great, good combo! I see they are still listing the sonic blue NOS 64! Is that the other bass you played? Tony
Old Horse Murphy
Thanks Tony I'm pretty sure the Sonic Blue one is the same as when I visited. If it is, it's a superb bass and it took me an age to decide between the 2 of them
MrFingers
I like the white guard better, but that's just me maybe. Here is an example of a vintage P with tort, and although I still don't like it, it doesn't look TOO shabby. It all depends on the lighting I guess. And flatwounds on a jazz -> heaven!
