ltswifty
N O W --- S O L D First time selling something here, although I've bought quite a bit and have some good feedback. Anyway, I need to raise some cash for a garage -> studio conversion, so something has to go unfortunately. I don't have any of my own pictures yet, but you can see the bass at the link below:- http://www.vintagean...me-Maple--20075 Condition wise the bass is a100% original 1977 Gibson RD Artist, in very good condition for age. I don't really know how to grade it but I would say 9/10. Comes in original Gibson hardcase, again in good condition for age, all catches work fine. It plays and sounds great. Everything works as it should, neck is perfect, truss rod is spot on, all Moog electronics and switches are original and work exactly as they should. It has a very nice flame to the maple, which is quite unusual. I live in Colchester, Essex. Bass can either be collected or I can send it by insured courier at whatever that costs (£20 -£30 I would guess). If I have broken any forum rules with this post please let me know, as mentioned this is the first time I have sold a bass on here. ltswifty
Thanks cocco. It is a beautiful instrument and I know I'm going to miss it, but I need the money to get my studio finished off. Such is life.
LemonCello
Calling the Neepheid... who is the resident RD specialist on here! That's a nice example and I'm suspecting you paid a deal more than your asking price if it came from AB. LC
ltswifty
Thanks. I do think it is one of the better natural finish examples. Really nice flaming. Priced to sell hopefully, got to get my studio project finished off, been dragging on for far too long. Cheers Simon
