Ok, this isn't exactly a build as such but I'm thinking of doing this.

Ok, not the best Photoshop I know, but does anyone have anything similar so that I can have a look at how it would turn out. I was wondering how the white body binding would interact with the black neck binding.

Also does anyone know if the pot spacing on the Aerodyne is the same as a Jazz plate as the top bass has a John East pre that I want to put into the Aerodyne body.

I was wondering what the distance between the pots were, are they the same as a regular Jazz? I'd appreciate it if you could measure them for me.

35mm to the centre of each pot shaft mate. Measured my jv jazz and got the same.

Can't help directly but the binding on the aerodyne is cream rather than white and matches up with a typical maple neck rather well (I defretted mine and used maple inlays, good match IMO)
