Onox Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) Hey everybody, I´m selling my Korg G5 - legendary Synth-Pedal! Looks like new and fully working. Aksing 250 GPB + Shipping (or nearly offers). I´m located in Germany but I able to ship the Pedal worldwide. It maybe seems a little bit overpriced but I paid 280 GBP for it and the do not show often up in second hand markets. Tradewise I would be interested in a Mutron III. Kind Regards! Edited July 30, 2012 by Onox
Onox Posted July 30, 2012 Author Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) Pridedrop to 220 GBP + Shipping, what should be fair. Edited July 30, 2012 by Onox
phil.i.stein Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 giving up on it already ? - you may regret it .. i know it can sound a bit limited and slightly 'cheesy' at first, but plug in a suitable volume pedal and it's a different beast. especially with a Harmonist and some fuzz after it ..
Onox Posted July 31, 2012 Author Posted July 31, 2012 The G5 is great but I just bought a Deep Imapct and I cant afford keeping them both
phil.i.stein Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 funny, i got rid of my Deep Impact for $$$'s and kept the G5. horses, courses etc. Bump for a very underrated piece of kit. best tracking synth pedal i've tried.
Truckstop Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Are these expression pedal compatible? I like te idea of getting rid of my fuzzes, synths and octaves and just having a dedicated synth pedal instead. Cheers for any info! Alex
Onox Posted August 1, 2012 Author Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) Phil.i.stein told me that the Korg kvp 001 Pedal would work the best with the G5. Yeah, the G5 tracks realy better then the Akai Deep Impact. Edited August 1, 2012 by Onox
pete.young Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Yes, it definitely works with an expression pedal. I sold mine with a Korg KVP 002. Wish I'd kept it.
thisnameistaken Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012
the G5 tracks realy better then the Akai Deep Impact.
The G5 doesn't really 'track' anything, it modifies the input signal to produce its sounds, which is why it seems to perform so much better than note-tracking pedals.
