So if anyone went to see Marcus Miller doing Tutu in london jazz a couple of years back (Barbican maybe?), you would have seen Christian Scott on the trumpet.

I loved him doing Miles, but didn't really give any of his own stuff a listen until I went to the North Sea Jazz festival this year. I really like his tone and he has a great ear for a melody.
