Neck now back at Rim Towers after being sent to have the 12th fret inlay laser cut!

Thought I would share this picture with you of the body pieces after being planed,
Its Black Limba with a Wenge centre stringer and a Maple veneer either side to match the centre piece of the neck!

Black Tulip wood veneers after cutting and being glued and clamped,ready for the Walnut front and rear facings to go on in the next few days or so.

That is looking seriously sexy! Bet you can't wait to grab hold of it! Really liking the ebony laminates in there; adds a certain sophistication to what is obviously quite an extremem instrument in every aspect!

This is looking great mate.

Robbie's work is up there with the best of them.
I have had my custom Bass from Robbie nearly seven years, and it is still a dream to play.
My only fretted that i play - saved me a fortune on GAS..!!

Hi Shaun bud, good to hear from you mate. Yeah all good at the mcdade family, my wife is five months preggas and we are having a girl, jake will be a big brother. Wow time flies, it's so nice to hear from you guys. I'm really enjoying David's 8 and he's a top bloke also, lots to do but we will get there, good to hear from you also Garry mate glad to see the axe is still killing it for ya, so got to do my singlecut marseer range, more updates from David soon and hey a new arrival late August, that's the baby not the 8 string lol!
