I received a text from Robbie about the intended pickup placement and we are going to go with somewhere between 65/70mm from front of the bridge to the centre of the pickup,oh the joy of text!!!!!!!! I realised the other day when getting ready for a gig, that I havn't even plugged in my Bolt-on Perception since the new one arrived. Its perfect. I guess that's the benefit of a custom build? Yeah the custom option certainly opens up a lot of possibilities!!!!!!! I'm really looking forward to getting my sweaty paws on the eight I must say! I had to buy a MIM jazz 70s classic series to take my mind off the wait, As for the intended completion date I really don't know when it will be but I don't mind because Robbie is Doing a great job and he's such a nice guy to deal with. I spoke to Rob last night and we discussed the positions for the control pots switches,recessed strap buttons etc! We also decided on what to do with the 12th fret inlay plus some other ideas regarding the fretboard which I'm keeping secret at the moment!!!!!! More pictures as I get em I promise. Quote
