Well, the volume pot is a stacked pot that includes the tone control on top.
You'd have to alter the wiring and find a suitable pot. Maybe it's easier to find a push-pull blend pot.

I am no tech, so cannot tell you much more about altering the setup and wiring solutions...

Right ok, so when through the body, is the tone the top knob or the bottom?

I guess on top. But you can alter that by resoldering the wires.
