ashevans09
Heya, Looking to move my EC-1000 on. Was just wondering if anyone knew its worth second hand? I was thinking of pitching around £650 (that's what I've seen others advertised for) but I was just wondering. Thanks, Ash
Ancient Mariner
It doesn't seem all that long ago that £650 was the new price, though it might be further back than it feels. I'd have thought between £350 and £500 depending on age, condition, case, pickups (EMGs or SDs) etc.

Was just wondering if anyone knew its worth second hand? I was thinking of pitching around £650 (that's what I've seen others advertised for) but I was just wondering. Thanks, Ash [/quote] I've just bought an ESP Eclipse with Bare Knuckle pickups, Brown-burst finish and hard case, all in "as new" condition from a fellow BC'er for not much more than that, so as nice as the LTD ECs are I think you're pitching it a little too high to be honest. noelk27
It's just too easy to negotiate on the high street these days. By way of example, I've just picked up a Fender Strat Deluxe, 2010 model with V profile neck. List price circa £1,600. Street price circa £1,250. Price paid £1,000. With street prices for those LTDs starting around £750 or £800, you'd be able to walk out the store paying less than £700. In your shoes I'd be pitching around two-thirds of the best street price, assuming it's A1 condition.
