Technique: finger style, picking, slap, tap, how to avoid common injuries

Fretboard knowledge: scales, arpeggios, chords and applied harmony

Styles: rock, pop, funk, soul, jazz and beyond

Musicianship: theory, sight reading, ear training and pro tips

Writing basslines/music and improvising

The focus will be on creating a practice routine to help you accomplish your musical ambition, whether you want to become a professional or play just for fun. I can also take you through graded exams via Rock School or The London College of Music.


1-2-1 lessons are £40 an hour

Just want to add to this, I've had a few lessons with Dave, and he's a fantastic teacher, really chilled and patient, I'd recommend him massively! I've already learnt things I never thought I could!

had my 3rd lesson today and in those 3 hours he has taught me a massive amount.
he's sound as, and not only a talented musician but a talented teacher. my lessons with him have focused on theory, and you can tell he knows his stuff - already i feel like i am growing beyond being a bass player and into being a musician.
