jay-syncro
I picked up my Custom Precision on BC a little while ago. After being initially pleased with the bass, I noticed that the action left a little to be desired. To cut a long story short, I ended up getting the fingerboard leveled, and the whole thing re-fretted by Andy Crockett of Crockett guitars. I thoroughly recommend Andy to anyone that requires repair or set-up work to be carried out, as he's an absolute genius. When I got the bass back from the 'shop, it was like a different instrument. It now plays and feels as good as it looks and sounds! Edited April 25, 2013 by jay-syncro
lozbass
Yikes, sorry to hear bout the board and fret issues! This bass was mine for a short period, and whilst the action wasn't very low, there was no issue with the neck at all - indeed, one of the selling points was the Brazillian board. It's good to hear that there's been a positive outcome despite the problems - a lovely looking instrument
