I've just purchased this Spector Rex brand new from Mark at Bass Direct. I've only had it about a month but as usual something else has caught my eye, something has to go, etc, etc... Same old story.

As expected, it's in as-new condition and is, as far as I can see, totally blemish free.

The only difference is that for some reason the controls on mine are vol/pan, rather than vol/vol. Makes no difference to the sound. And despite the shape, it fits happily inside a standard gig bag.

Quite a rare beast on these shores, a quick Google search shows they retail at around £839.99 - I'll ask [s]£600[/s] [s]£550[/s] £[s]500[/s] £475 for mine.
Collection preferred but can arrange postage if needed at buyer's cost.

I don't normally go in for daft shaped basses, but I actually quite like this; probably partly to do with Rex Brown going quite a lot up in my estimations as a bassist recently

Ooh, very nice, Cosmo!

I have had a lot of time for Rex - in the older underrated bassists thread he was my nomination, some superb work with Pantera.
