Fairly well established London based band seeking a bassist (metal, post-rock, atmospheric, cinematic)

Hi everyone! Registered on here under another username, acolmiztli I think it was, but can't login anymore. so created a new account!

Right.. so... My band is looking for a bassist. This is us:

I guess we write atmospheric, cinematic, arty metal... pretty conceptual, and heavily instrumental. Plenty of freedom for a bassist to come up with interesting rhythms and riffs. We're looking for someone comfortable with compound time signatures, and who can provide a groove - elements of drone and effects usage would be great too.

We've had some pretty reasonable success with our two albums. We've been reviewed in Metal Hammer, Rocksound, and on the various music blogs on the internet - our 2nd album 'Exegesis' has been received very well. We've supported bands such as Pelican, Astrohenge, Latitudes, Rinoa, and Manatees - plus loads more.

We're looking for someone to learn existing material and also contribute heavily to the writing process for our future material. Check out our stuff and let me whether you'd be interested in auditioning - if you are, I can send you some tracks to learn.

Heheh, well we've all got day jobs and all the rest of it (I got married this year too) so we're not looking to take over the world and go on month long tours or anything. There is a certain amount of effort we'd like to see put in, but it's a pretty standard affair for anyone joining a band I would've thought.

Pretty keen on having someone London based, as we rehearse once a week in North London and that wont change.

Btw folks, we rehearse in North London - near Arnos Grove underground, or New Southgate overground. It's pretty easy to get to. If I'm omitting any other details that people need, let me know, and I'll try and fill you in!
