Hey there!

I was wondering if anyone had a transcriptions of PCs bassline on this, I'm trying to transcribe it myself at the min and I'm really struggling to pick out the notes he's playin on the record. Any help??

er, yeah, 4-5 choruses I think.
IIRC the issue is bars 11 and 12 are an interesting choice of chord Ab7#11(??)

furthermore in the deep recesses of my brain I think the original recording could be "out of tune". which may not help eh

if my Wife will help me work this scanner we could be good to go tomorrow

One side of the Kind Of Blue LP was originally mastered at the wrong speed so is slightly off pitch. THis has been corrected on later editions so it depends which version you have.

It allows you to slow down, loop, select frequencies, tune, transpose an MP3, so it's a great tool for transcribing basslines, as you can boost the low frequencies. And when you've done the transcription, you can filter the bass out and play along!
