According to Seymour Duncan website:-
"...This pickup is similar in design to the Vintage, but kicks up the output with more aggressive coil windings. Compared to the Vintage, there's a heavier mid-range emphasis that makes this pickup well suited to rock tones. Includes logo cover.

Calibrated neck and bridge set. Neck pickup is slightly narrower. Neck is RW/RP for hum canceling when both pickups are used together..."

I don't suppose anyone knows how these compare to DiMarzio Ultrajazz pickups, mostly in terms of output!

You might try looking into the technical specs on both SD & DiM sites (?)

I did mate, but they seem to rate 'output' in different ways, DiMarzio with a number, SD with a little symbol.

The DiMarzios have lower resistance though, suggesting that their output might be higher?

I replaced the stock pickups in my MIM Jazz with some of these and it made a real difference, both in tone and output.
