eminence beta or delta??

[/quote]What matters is matching them to the cab and amp, using their T/S specs and a speaker modeling program to determine suitability.

I'm using a mesa powerhouse cab 4 10 and a mesa 400+ head. The cab needs to be 4
Ohms.

Unless you have a valve head that can't run at 8 ohms there's nothing to be gained by using a 4 ohm cab. That's not the case with the 400+.

Hi, I've just replaced 2 speakers in the PA cabs, (EV SX300's) & on the advice from Nigel at 'Lean Business' used 2 Eminence Delta12A's & they sound fine. You might like to email them stating the make & model of the previous speakers. They replied quickly, gave good advice & are keenly priced. Good luck.

I`ve used Betas, and they are a lovely sounding speaker - very Ampeg-like tone to them.

Are you looking to replace a speaker in the powerhouse? If so, the 4 ohm 410 uses 16 ohm speakers in parallel, so you'll need a 16 ohm speaker.
