Wayne Firefly
Is there such a thing as a bass ukulele UNDER £200 ????? Yes, beautifully made Kala ukes may be but kind of hard to justify.... surely someone somewhere must be doing a budget version ??? Who knows ? Mornats
It's a real shame as you can get a normal uke for £70 that sounds quite decent for its price. I'd love a bass uke for they're just silly money in my opinion. As an aside, I've played the same bass uke that K.D. Lang tried out in J.G. Windows in Newcastle (she bought one after doing a gig up there). But as claims to fame go... hehe
ThomBassmonkey
The thing is that for a decent acoustic instrument, they generally cost more than electrics anyway and especially bass instruments need to be well made IMO to be any good. I wouldn't want anything cheap for a bass uke.
charic
I think there's a kala in a store me for less than 200. Will have a check when next in town
Schnozzalee
*Double Facepalm* Why would you want one??? SlapbassSteve
Amazed no companies have noticed the sizeable gap in the market for a cheapo uke bass. The Kala ones are pretty sexy but I can't see why you'd spend £400-ish on one when you could get a pretty decent 'normal' bass or even a cheapo double for that kinda money.
