KennysFord Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 (edited) Mine now. Cheers George, tis a lovely thing. I've started a feedback thread for you and...well... thanks a lot Bud, I'm super chuffed...Sounds Proper Like !! Pete. Edited August 24, 2012 by kennyrodg
3below Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Enjoy the Big One, it is a great cab. Despite having a Dubster I am having an equivalent built since it is such a good cab, only reason I changed was the Dubster was too good to miss. Feed your Big one plenty of Watts, it thrives on them.
KennysFord Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Cheers Bud, I'm sure I'll enjoy it, I just need the "plenty of watts" part now hehe.
Fellrunner Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 Sorry to see it go but glad it found a good home. Im tempted by the Dubster....how limited in its application is it 3below?
KennysFord Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 I'll have first refusal on your Compact then George
3below Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012
Im tempted by the Dubster....how limited in its application is it 3below?
Apols on slow reply, Dubster is just great. I have used with my USA basses TI flats, and cheapy Rockbass with roundwounds. No shortage of hi frequency for my tastes, does not seem much different to Big One (and I know my high frequency hearing is still pretty good). Where the Dubster scores is the sheer volume, noticeably louder with my Peavey 700 compared to Big One. The low frequency response is just something else. Best cab I have ever owned, Big one is second best.
