RafBass Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Beautiful bass and just the sort of p bass I'm searching for. Excuse my ignorance but is it a 'Crafted in Japan' guitar? Thanks Al
Precision Posted August 10, 2012 Author Posted August 10, 2012 (edited) Many thanks for the compliment - I must admit it's a much admired bass. I'll willingly forgive your ignorance if you forgive mine - it is indeed a 'Crafted In Japan' Guitar. I should have included such a basic fact in my description! Trusting this helps Edited August 10, 2012 by Precision
RafBass Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I think this need a bump! BTW, if you don't mind me asking, what type of Gibson r u interested in?
Precision Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 Many thanks for the Bump ;o) The Gibson I'm interested in is a LP Junior DC in Peltham Blue.
Toasting Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 If only you were willing to post, I'd be very interested.
karlfer Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Lovely, lovely bass. You will find somebody who will pay exactly what you state, and who can collect, it may just take more time. Not a criticism, just the voice of experience. . Did I say lovely bass? Bump.
Precision Posted October 23, 2012 Author Posted October 23, 2012 Thank you kindly karlfer - I agree with everything you say (it's an extremely lovely bass and a delight to play). Appreciated
jazzmanb Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 alreet! nice bass (again) is the neck a jazz profile or a precision profile just with inlays?..i'm in sunderland and although i'm trying to make space under my bed i'm easily led
Precision Posted October 23, 2012 Author Posted October 23, 2012 Hi Jazzmanb, The neck is a Precision neck, manufactured to replicate the ones used in the 70's. I've had a few Jazzes and Precisions in my time (hence my username!) and I can truly say, hand on heart, this is the 'fastest' Precision neck I've ever played let alone owned. It's extremely smooth and rediculously playable. You're more than welcome to pop across for a no obligation tryout, but it's only fair to warn you you'll be more than impressed!
Lozz196 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 I played one of these in a shop at the weekend - very nice indeed.
Precision Posted October 24, 2012 Author Posted October 24, 2012 This bass is now sold. A big thank you to everyone who showed an interest in it and an even bigger thank you to Tom, it couldn't have went to a nicer guy. Cheers.
karlfer Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 If that's Tom1946, he is 40 miles closer to me, I will wait for the rebound . Seriously though, well done on the sale. I was going to offer £630 and collection last week, but I didn't do it as you were saying no offers. Nice one, hope you get the Gibbo, cheers, Karl.
