yorks5stringer
We were soundchecking on Friday evening and there was some Olympics on in the background at our pub gig. Guy comes up to me after we finished the s/c and asked me how often there were Olympic World Records run? Not taking him seriously I said " well every 4 years".. he said "yes and our soundcheck ruined his viewing of said record". I suggested then he should have perhaps watched it at home uninterupted on his TV. He countered with " but then I would have not been able to listen to the music"! Welcome to Dorset! rushbo
Genius. Unless the world record was in shouting, a soundcheck wouldn't really impair the watching of an event. Or if you were really desperate to see it, you'd watch it at home or record it. This reminds me of the people who buy houses next to pubs and then complain vehemently about the noise.... Brilliant. !!!!! Dave
