awdl22125
I have just bulit my first pedalboard, I have always used one multi-effects unit in the past but fancied a change. This is the oder I have them connected on the board Wireless Receiver Korg Pitchblack Tuner Marshall SV1 Chorus Boss ODB 3 Digitech BP50 Multi Effects. Does the order on the board make a difference to the sound, if so can someoine suggest the best order for these pedals. Many Thanks
sixdegrees
I'd have the chorus after the overdrive. And the multi would depend on what effect you selected. But generally I find that overdrive/fuzz/distortion pedals go in front of delay/chorus/flange type effects.
citymariner
The best thing is to have a play. I tend to put modulation after OD/FUZZ/Distortion, however I like putting an octave pedal before the OD and give it the cleanest signal for tracking. Tuners can go at the beginning for the end, my wireless has a tuner out so that runs my tuner signal. The consensus used to be that the tuner is best at the front for the cleanest signal but a recent debate showed people had put them all over the place with no problem. What effects are using the MFX for?
xgsjx
The order of effects does make a difference to the sound as each effect affects the previous efect. There is no "right" order, play about & see what you like. I would probably keep the same order that you have but put the chorus last.
