ashgeezer Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Need help people, i"ve just decided to start on a bass project thats been hanging on my wall since last year, i"ve stripped it down to the bare wood but i need some suggestions as to what colours to use. I was thinking of doing it 2 colours, my main colour all over but with a different colour around the edges, be much appreciated if you could all pitch in with ideas. Quote
SiOfBass Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 well its gotta come from you for whatever it is you play. what kind of look are you wanting for you band or just for this toy? personally im a fan of black and white together, but if you want something a little more special one of those will work with any colour i can think of an never look bad IMO. on the other hand you could bling it gangstar... paul, the Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Giving a style of bass is a big help, as it will help people visualise colours they like from memory. Quote
Jono Bolton Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 I'm assuming it's Precision, being the most common of bass shapes. I say sonic blue, with a matching headstock, and white around the edges. Quote
ashgeezer Posted April 29, 2008 Author Posted April 29, 2008 i really like the sound of sonic blue and white, gotta lot work ahead of me with sanding and priming and the like. cheers for the input guys but keep the ideas coming. Quote
