cetera Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) OK, time for another bass to leave the fold. I really love this bass but have over extended myself financially recently so something has to give.... This is my lovely Schecter Model-T bass in black with black pickguard, Seymour duncan pickups, heavy duty chrome bridge/hardware and rosewood board. soundwise it covers the spectrum....from deep full tones on the P pickup to honky tight nasal tones on the J pickup. Combine the two and you have a tight rocking tone....and the output seems almost 'active' in power and clarity. Condition is excellent - just the lightest of knocks on the headstock end (typical) and some light usage scratches on the back of the body. There's also a spot of velcro on the bottom edge by the input (where a little wireless transmitter attached). This can easily be removed. Current shop price - IF you can find one - is in the region of £520 - £500 so I will accept *SOLD* + courier (or collected from Guildford, Surrey area...or Central London) Direct Bank Transfer or Cash preferred, but Paypal accepted if you cover all fees. Truckstop Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Very interesting looking thing! I shouldn't like it, but it has something about it. Good luck with the sale! Truckstop
Bigwan Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Great basses these. Used to have one myself (actually could be this one i suppose).
cetera Posted August 15, 2012 Author Posted August 15, 2012 Thanks guys - yes it's a beauty.... plays so well and has such bold tones!
Bernmeister Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Looks like the same model that Doug Pinnock (Kings X) was using on their last uk tour. But of course his was the lefty version.
cetera Posted August 18, 2012 Author Posted August 18, 2012 (edited) It is indeed.... yet so familiar in its hot rod P-bass stylings Edited August 20, 2012 by cetera

dmccombe7 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Nice bass and great price. I'm maxed out on basses at moment. Looking forward to seeing you again at Lanark in few weeks. Have a good one Dave
cetera Posted September 24, 2012 Author Posted September 24, 2012 Cheers Dave! Yep it's a cracker of a bass - will be sad to see it go but needs must... See you at Lanark!
Rayman Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 As used by Dug Pinnick with Kings X on the last tour. Superb basses these. I had one a while back and was very impressed. I also understand, from Dug himself, that Schecter were thinking about a Dug sig version of this bass.

I'm not surprised though - these are, indeed, great feeling & sounding basses
Rayman Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Cracking bass it really is, surprised it hasn't gone. I'm tempted myself. Shame you're not a bit (a lot) closer.

Great night once again. Had to leave just before the end though - sorry didn't catch up with you. Next time !!! Dave

silverfoxnik Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 I've currently got a Schecter Diamond P 5 string bass which is very similar to this and it is an amazing sounding bass! I get more comments about it than I do for my Roscoe Beck 5 and that's saying somethings.. Likewise, I'm surprised this hasn't gone yet.. But have a BUMP on me and GLWTS.

cetera Posted October 13, 2012 Author Posted October 13, 2012 (edited) Thanks Nick - yep, it's an amazing sounding bass and a complete bargain..... Can't believe it's still here......! Edited October 15, 2012 by cetera
Rayman Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 VERY surprised this is still here, these are quality basses. I'm going to check funds myself.
WalMan Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Now what I am supposed to be looking for is a good US P, but it is so near & shiny
silverfoxnik Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 It does look very cool...and as I've said before, if the quality of my Schecter Diamond P 5 string is anything to go by, it's a very good bass for the money!
cetera Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 And.....SOLD! Wow, the market is tough right now!
