Not overly familiar with SG Basses... is the difference between this one (faded) and the one on the Gibson site(glossy) just down to the body finish and the block inlays?

Yes this is the Faded Worn Cherry finish.. which is the more Andy Fraser style. However this is the cheaper model than the Gloss.. Its about £100 more. Whcih also has Block inlays yes.

Don't suppose you are interested in a trade for a Washburn Status with flight case?

And Sorry Paul, thank you for your post however no I wouldnt be interested in any trades as the funds from this are going straight towards a new bass.

I own one of these & they are superb basses - solid mahogany, set neck, US made, play great & sound even better. The neck pick up is the classic fat warm Gibson tone but the bridge pickup is surprisingly punchy, great for fingerstyle funk.
