Acebassmusic
I've recently bought a Wood & Tronics Chronos which I'm really happy with. However the techie / geek / engineer in me wants to know what the pre-amp is installed in it. Its got a switch and an adjustment pot - what do they do? I've been in touch with the good people at W&T and they basically said "No idea, looks like a retrofit". Tried a couple of previous owners (thanks guys) but they dont know either. Heres a piccy of the unit which is stuck in place and covered in a plastic shrink wrap type material. If you know what it is and can let me know you can award yourself a gold medal for services to bass geekery Thanks.
LukeFRC
not a clue but that switch sure does say "flick me" !
Lfalex v1.1
GUESS- The switch is for mid frequency (if it's 3 band, or a mid-cut if it's 2!) The adjuster will likely be for overall output level, especially if it runs in passive mode, then it'll be for level matching between the two modes?
