wally8 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Hi, i had one of these - the red wine gloss one - nice basses. I never shifted mine on here - not a lot of love for these. Mine eveutally went on gumtree for a scandelous price considering it cost me around £400 in 1999. Good luck
BassVentura-FretDetective Posted August 22, 2012 Author Posted August 22, 2012 Thanks a lot! I know, it sadly lacks that sought after name, but it's been a great little player. I paid £330 for it in about 2007
BassVentura-FretDetective Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 £170...needs to go people
wally8 Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Come on you beauties - lookie lookie (however dont ignore like those goons abroad who would sell their mothers). These basses are ace. For £150 you are getting a serious bargain. IMO this will sound as good if not better than the mexican jazz's and P basses. Much more sound variety, and it wont kill your back as they are nice and light with a fast neck. Stop being trendy coz it doesnt say Fender - buy buy buy
mr bassie Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 this was my first "proper" bass - I still have it proudly hanging on the wall I love it, nice piece of wood, plays well - definitely recommend it to someone else
BassVentura-FretDetective Posted August 31, 2012 Author Posted August 31, 2012 Thanks lads, you both speak wisdom. Someone's gonna get a bargain. The flight case...is even a bit like an inside-out badger. What's not to love?
BassVentura-FretDetective Posted September 2, 2012 Author Posted September 2, 2012 Final offer bump - £130, can't let it go for less than this, snap up a great bass for peanuts
GrammeFriday Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 £ for £ this has got to be one of the very best deals anywhere on this forum. That's a whole lotta quality bass for almost nowt!
BassVentura-FretDetective Posted September 3, 2012 Author Posted September 3, 2012 I thought so. Now to replace it with another such bargain
