BassVentura-FretDetective Posted August 29, 2012 Author Share Posted August 29, 2012 Others feel free to chip in, but in my experience they share the same thin neck profile, chuggy sound, same sorta electronic set-up and body construction - I believe US parts but constructed in Indonesia (?). If you were paying a grand more for a US Sterling I'm sure you'd notice a difference! Owning a Musicman made instrument - having that 3/1 headstock near my left hand - is pretty awesome.
