Grade Books (Trinity, Rockschool)

Hi Guys,

My initial question is where can I find the Trinity grade 8 bass book ? I've looked on their website and it says 'coming soon' which is a pain in the ass. I've looked amazon and ebay for it but no luck, maybe I'm not looking hard enough ?

Also, anyone compared these 2 together. I mean in terms of difficulty and what the overall examination is like ? Imo, the trinity one is the one I would go for as it has real songs that can be performed e.g. Havana, Dream theatre, YYZ. Overall, I think it is much more difficult which is why I would like to attempt it.

Anyone tried the trinity grades ?

I only found out about them today by chance, I would guess it's a new thing for them and it's all still in the process of being sorted out and started up etc... hence the "coming soon" - dunno, just a guess.

I would imagine that I will do them when they're available, I've done the Rock School exams and i've got the RGT grade 8 in December - as I don't have a band / anyone to play with it gives me something to concentrate / work on.
