Dick Venom & The Terrortones are playing the "Not The Glastonbury Music Festival" at Bartons in Beeston on Saturday 25th August 2012.

The Festival runs all weekend in 5 sessions from Friday to Sunday.

We're playing the Saturday evening session which kicks off at 6.30.

Also playing will be:
Red Bear
Imperial Circus (acoustic set)
Practical Lovers

More details of the whole weekend here.

As usual I'll be posting playing times etc when I get them.

According to the latest info on Nottingham Live and the event page on Facebook we're headlining the Saturday evening starting at around 11.00.

Practical Lovers and Red Bear who are on before us are both well worth seeing - if I wasn't a Tererortone I'd want to be a Practical Lover. I don't know anything about the 4th band on the evening bill.

Unfortunately not. It's Beeston near Nottingham, so sort of a local gig for us.

We'd be happy to come to Leeds - we've played at Milo a couple of times and really liked it. Do you know of any other venues that would be up for a bit of Terrortone mayhem?

I've only just moved here! I don't even know if I would be up for a bit of Terrotone mayhem, I heard people spontaneously and orgasmicaly exploded once when you played, body parts everywhere

Thanks for coming, glad you enjoyed the gig.

I hope the venue carries on with live music, but they don't seem very good at publicising it. It looked as though most of the people there had come specifically to see one of the bands and through the publicity that the bands rather than the venue or promoters did. Nottingham Live who organised the evening that we played had almost no publicity for it on their own web site!

I posted some photos from the gig here.

The venue is great, but off the beaten track. As you say, they need some sort of marketing to get the place known.

Re. The pics, really really good. As photogenic as you and your bass are, I must admit, I find my eye constantly drawn towards your guitarist :-)
