jackjazz
Hi, just having a few problems with my ebs hd 350 amp head and just wondered if anyone knew What was wrong with it or Have had the same problems or similar. The first problem occurs when I power the amp up. When I flick the power switch the amp sometimes try's to power up and turns its self off but sometimes I power it up and it turns on no problem. Once the amps on the power stays on. It's very temperamental, sometimes I have to flick the switch upto 15 times. The other problem is that the amp has become a lot noisier since this problem. Any ideas? Edited August 21, 2012 by jackjazz
MarkBassChat
You can buy any switch, disconnect the wires from the old switch, connect the new one and see if this helps. Noisy amp may be something else related e.g. to old valve (I don't remeber if there is a valve - in TD650 there is one). mike.march
I had the same problem with mine. i got in touch with ebs stating what the amp does and he sent me out a new switch with no charge and no charge on postage( i couldn't believe it as he didn't even question warranty and considering i have had the amp for 7years that's a good thing) now it works flawlessly. as for the hum im not sure. it could be solved by a replacement switch though. good luck!
