Godlyke Instruments are hand-built in Japan by one of their most reputable of small shops with all work being completed by hand (!). They have received rave Reviews in the International Music Press (+++) and are now used by a number of top players.
It is, effectively, brand-new and in totally mint condition

Thanks Keir - it is a nicely constructed and great playing/sounding fretless. It's also pretty light, but has a really full sound.
I like this construction method, although it's not used a great deal by bass luthiers: the Marleaux 'M' series have a similar / developed neck joint.
