warwickhunt
Just thought I'd resurrect this as I've just come across the youtube vid whilst looking at something else... VERY different! I take it no-one has one?
GreeneKing
I'm stuck thinking about set up and getting the string/fretline straight and more or less parallel. Amazing idea. I'm imagining taking it into a shop for P/ex and say 'the neck's supposed to be like that'. Peter
thisnameistaken
Can you bend notes on it - that was my first thought. Unfortunately the second thought required to work it out for myself was just too difficult.

4000
I love it. However I cannot imagine either how the neck is made or what you do if the neck actually does twist.....
BigRedX
I got into quite a long and involved discussion with Jerome Little when I first came across these basses, and he did explain in detail how the neck works - my concern was with how the truss-rod worked with a twisting neck since every bass I've bought from the US has need some serious adjustments to cope with the change to the UK climate. Unfortunately I've since deleted the emails, but he seemed keen to explain it all so if anyone's seriously interested in buying one I'd drop him a line and ask. BTW he's built a neck for a Bas Extravaganza bass, so there's one available a little closer to the UK to try, and with the current exchange rates actually works out slightly cheaper than a Little.
