Surprisingly playable, has very good, usable tone. I have no idea as to the specs, but I think the string spacing is 17 mm-ish, the scale is probably 34". What I do know it's easy to play, balances really well thanks to that long upper horn, and would fit right in on most kinds of groovy music. [/quote] And mine, that was exactly the same ended up with a guy in Spain! Probably one of the best 'affordable' signature model 7 strings on the market I reckon! Speaking from experience here : sometimes, a piece of kit opens up new avenues and styles of musical expression. More range and great ergonomics is more likely to do that than a new colour.
